Hi -
I have just updated to the latest version of Pwrapper (1.06).  I'm using Max 2009 and Vray 1.5 SP3.  I am unable to get motion blur to work with Vray at all. I read through the older posts and it seems that it sometimes worked, sometimes not. Is object motion blur working with Vray/Pwrapper at this point? If so, what has to be set?

At current the MB type is set to object, and I'm using a VrayPhysical camera with a shutterspeed above the frame rate (works in Realflow that way, not sure about glu).

Thanks for any help.

I came to ask this possibility:
Number the vertices so that the 3d motion blur is working properly.

Best regards,

Léon

I've tried everything I can think of and cannot get motion blur working with pwrapper and Vray. I've tried the multi-pass camera effect as well as Vray's mo-blur. It works on Glu particles, just not the pwrapper mesh.  Is it not possible at this time?

Thanks in advance

i had that problem this week actually! I cached the pwrapper with SuperMesher and hoped for luck but no chance...

Is the regular glu working for you with the latest glu and latest vray 1.5 sp5?

Yeah, never did get that sorted but moved on to other things. I'd like to come back to it eventually when I have some time to play.

I'm not sure about the latest glu/vray - I haven't updated glu in a bit, but I'm also running a beta of Vray so I don't have sp5 installed atm. Sorry I can't answer that one for you!

As I understand it you cant make a morphing mesh have motionblur in any renderer. Theres nothing to blur. If Im wrong someone tell me ? Try exporting the particles perhaps from a second lighter weight sim and then motion blur the particles and combine in post ?
